Michigan's DNR is full of HOGWASH!

Michigan in collaboration with Obama Administration are using their Agencies to force insane regulations on Small Family Farms, especially Family owned Pig Farms with threats of felony charges, if they DON'T comply.
In many cases, this means Small Pig Farmers, MUST kill all their livestock - and cease and desist their farming operations immediately.
This led me to research deeper, when I asked myself why?
Why would Michigan's Department of Natural Resources (DNR) impose such harsh penalties on Michigan's Family Pig Farmers, that have been doing this for a living - for generations?

Michigan's DNR is specifically targeting "Feral" Pigs meaning "Wild" or "out of fence".
Again, that sparked my curiosity to question what is the problem with feral pigs in Michigan?
Their so-called lame excuse to impose eradication of "Feral" Pigs is because they are destroying cropland. Who says and where is the evidence to prove their claims?

After roaming the woods in Northern Michigan selling 40 acre hunting property, for almost 20 years  I've NEVER seen a "feral" hog in the wild, nor have I heard any farmer make reference to this problem, which is in the heartland of rural crop growers.
I've also hunted these pigs, on a private preserve which I can proudly say they produce the most lean and delicious meat, unlike you would ever find in the grocery store.
So none of this made sense, at least in accordance to reality in Michigan, unlike the problem in Florida and Texas.

Digging deeper and knowing Michigan's way of solving economic conditions, I studied a video produced by the Ohio Pork Industry which gave me another clue....
The mere mention from a Family Pork Farm, that converted to a Factory Pig Farm stated: ".....they no longer raise different species of pigs, but just stick to one species, being genetically raised to produce lean meat, as the market demands.

Again, I asked myself, why would Michigan want to really eradicate "feral" Pigs when they produce the same quality meat, the Pork Industry, is trying to achieve in genetically raising another species?
Smelled like "Hogwash" to me.
It wouldn't be something like....both State and Federal Governments inconspicuously merged with Michigan Pork Producers to force the shut down of Small Hog Farms to make way for their Factory Pig Farms without competition? Would it?

Could this be the way, the State of Michigan is seeking to gain a higher tax revenue and lower their unemployment rate? Stomping out generations of Hog Farmers and hurting other farmers, eliminating competition.... so Michigan Pork Producer's Factory Hog Farms can gain FULL CONTROL of the Pork Market? I say absolutely YES!

It's been the only way Michigan Lawmakers know how to increase tax revenue to balance their books by expanding it's Government Agencies, creating jobs and have "bragging rights" about lowering Michigan's unemployment rate.

Since the early 80's this has been their "mode of operation" rather than establish Tax Credits with less regulations, to allow the Free Enterprise Market to boost economy and create more sustainable and productive job that will continue to increase economical growth.
Now, State and Federal Agencies have branched out together to meet separate agendas to eradicate Family Operated Farms, in the same manner as China; uses different branches of government to dominate over and- gain FULL CONTROL of all "Food and Energy" Market Industries.

In the heart of a Democratic State, the Attorney General, Bill Schutte, a Republican and family member of Dow Chemical who served as Congressman overseeing the Agriculture Industry until his ex-college roommate, succeeded him named Dave Camp, another Republican from Midland, Michigan, the same location of Dow Chemical's World Headquarters.
Gee, I wonder if this has something to do with Dow's Organic Division?
What a coincidence? or is it? You connect the dots.

You say, who cares what they do as long as jobs are created?
- You'll think twice, when you go to your local Meat Market, who bought their pork meat from local farmers and discover they are unable to to sell any kind of pork products.
- You'll think twice when Eminent Domain powers are imposed on or near your property to make way for Factory Hog Farms.
- You'll think twice, when you place that piece of bacon, ham, loin or sausage in your mouth, wondering if perhaps it's slightly tainted with harmful hormones that's dissolving throughout your system.
-You'll think twice, when the Government tells you what you have to do, just to eat.
So you say, "I just won't eat any pork" - doesn't matter.
This kind of movement across America with the usage of State and Federal Government Agencies are joined simultaneously with the Beef, Egg and Produce Industries to gain FULL CONTROL over our food supply, our basic need to survive.

  1. Thanks for following the story Debby! It's not something that our mainstream media would every cover huh? They follow the Kardashians instead! I honestly think that we need a boycott on the purchase of pork from the 'big' commercial producers who helped this law by supporting it. Perhaps then they would change their tunes and help reverse it?
